  • Hi there

Yes I have read that thread, I personally have not used any custom code, but we do have third party plugins.

I followed the "Load pages in the most recent version of Internet Explorer"  part, but still the error appears. We are using IE10 mostly on win7.

  • Hi,

Although this has been a open issue since after rollup 12 came which comes in one way or other.

Quick questions for you to narrow down issue:

    1. Check the server datetime and client datetime are synchronized.
    2. Next, Are you able to run without error in compatibility mode to IE 9
    3. Are you able to run without error in other browser: Chrome and/or firefox latest versions.
    4. Do you have any ribbon button that has been customized
    5. Do you have any managed solutions which are using JavaScript which might be running in the background
    6. Did you clear the local cache of the browser and then tried running the application
    7. Did you clear the Application pool of IIS on the CRM server and then tries running the application
    8. Did you run the diagnostic tool for CRM after clearing off the earlier debug info.
    9. Let me know what setting you have on the Settings-->Administration-->System Settings-->Customization Tab for "Load Pages in the most recent version of the Internet Explorer"
    10. Did you run the Custom Code Validation Tool to verify the JavaScript present in your organization.

Let me know your progress on the steps mentioned above.

I hope you should be able to reach to a point so as to get this issue resolved.

    Thanks & Regards,

  • Alright,

    Inputs from above responses:

"custom buttons present from managed solutions"

    Now,

    1. do you have any iframe present on your form?
    2. do you have CRM for outlook installed on your machine where you are getting this message? (I'm suspecting this, so need clarification on this one)

    Thanks & Regards,

  • Thanks,

Your machine log contains reference to the localdb storage cache references.

can you post the error log of the machine where outlook client is not installed.

    Thanks

  • just a crazy idea, but check on IIS for the Dynamics CRM application and look if you have the anonymous enabled and is using an account different than the ISUR_computer account.

I had some interesting behavior with the activity feed on one environment that we need to enable anonymous and change the account.

    just a wild guest!

    Abe.
