CRM Process - Creates Appointment but doesn't show up in Outlook RRS feed

  • Question

  • If I create an appointment activity within CRM 2011 Online manually, connected to an opportunity, the resulting appointment shows up in my Outlook Calendar automatically.

I created a process to check to see when the status reason changes to "Booked" and also checks the service date, and it will create an appointment automatically with the correct date. Awesome! However, these appointments created by the workflow are NOT appearing in my Outlook calendar.

I am going to continue to try to figure out why, but if anyone else has a quick answer, please feel free to share!

    Thanks!

  • In your workflow properties for the Appt, ensure that your User record is added as a user to the Required or Optional field of the appointment.
