Office Home and Student 2007 Validation Problems RRS feed

  • Question

  • I bought my copy at Staples and it includes a license for up to three computers. I checked the website for signs of counterfeit and it seems solid as far as I know, but it doesn't stand up to the validation test...Help please?

  • Neilol,

It appears that you may have a trial version 2007 Microsoft Office system installed which may be causing problems. You will need to remove this from your system.  Should you experiencing any problems I have provide you with a resolution for this.  Your issue appears to be outside the scope of the Genuine Advantage forum. In an attempt to assist I would like to provide the following information, however if the issue persists I would recommend you contact Microsoft Office support at http://support.microsoft.com/gp/assistsupport and choosing your product to create a support incident.

Please look @ the following Knowledge Base (KB) article http://support.microsoft.com/kb/928218/en-us. Here you will find detailed instructions for removing beta release versions of Office Suite 2007 or program.

Important:  This article contains information about how to modify the registry. Make sure that you back up the registry before you modify it.
