ALL Vista and Windows 7 machines should have the message - if the message is not there then there is a problem with the system, which has probably been caused by something which will mean that the system is showing as non-genuine (it may simply be a file problem).

No SLIC table just means that there is no BIOS table for self activation. You have a Retail install so this is not an issue. This report looks fine, are you getting the Non-Genuine message on a regular basis? See if you can generate a report when you are seeing the message and repost it here.

The 'Ask for Genuine Software' message on the System properties page is perfectly normal - it's on every genuine system!

On the internet I found the information written by the person who does not have this message, and had the original system. Does not this mean that something is wrong with my computer ?Thursday, January 16, 2014 6:10 PM

That person probably had non-genuine software in the first place! - do you have a link?

It was not Microsoft's website, but the forum that I found on the internet looking for information. So this person do not have original system, or do not know that, am I right? Is this link is needed for something?
I came to this conclusion: all the original systems which have been well bought have this message in computer properties. But not XP and below.
Then I have another question: if I was bought original OEM system then I could have problem because of that no SLICE table?
And all no original Windows do not have this message. Am I right?

Ok, then the last.
1. Do you still need this link to forum ? Have I to paste it?
2. "No SLICE table" mean that my system could have a problem with self activate OEM licence (I mean if I'd buy OEM licence instead BOX)?- Edited by elami Friday, January 17, 2014 10:36 AM

If you purchase an OEM System Builder product, that also ignores the SLIC table, and activates over the internet in the same way as Retail ones do.
It's only the pre-installed (and Recovery media) OS's that can self-activate using the SLIC table.
The link to where you saw the information would be useful - then we can comment on what was actually happening, and perhaps correct whatever was being said there.

Thanks for that - the response by mrsebolo is totally incorrect, and misleading (assuming Google Translate is working properly!)

the mktiger post is also rather misleading, although possibly not incorrect (Google's translation fails here) -
This is the Google translation...
I have Windows 7 OEM purchased and activated I remember once that I had some problem with the disc (DMA CRC Error) Aug. hung my system after replacing the cable and reset the computer have showed up like a window - the system suggested by illegal But after any reboot itself disappeared. Maybe the DMR is crazy. Take a chance to upgrade Maybe install a newer version (only with a VISTA and WIN7 not)
It implies that he had a DVD with problems - which would always cause problems with installation, and could lead to a non-genuine flag.
The problem is that he brings DMR into it, and DMR has absolutely nothing to do with Windows Genuine or activation/validation.
All in all, that post is really irrelevant to the original question.
