  • Hello:

I have paid for subscription and it has cleared my credit card, however it still reads that I only have four days left until expires.

  • Do you have a subscribe link in OneCare? If so, click it and sign in with your LiveID. If not, try clicking "check for updates" in OneCare. What happens?

If you sign in with your LiveID at http://billing.microsoft.com is you subscription shown?

Also, please verify that your computer date and time are set correctly.

If you see the active subscription on the Billing site and no subscribe link in OneCare and your date and time are correct and this is the PC where you purchased your subscription from, you may want to consider uninstalling OneCare and reinstalling it - then activate with the LiveID for your subscription to associate the install with it. It appears as if the subscription confirmation was not returned to the OneCare install on your PC when you completed the initial activation.

Finally, you can contact support for help -

How to reach support - http://forums.microsoft.com/WindowsOneCare/ShowPost.aspx?PostID=2421771&SiteID=2

If it fails to validate your subscription, select the option that you are using a trial or beta copy and you can proceed to email support without validation once you've signed in.
