Anti Virus can not be started. Urgent RED status. RRS feed

  • Question

  • I have downlaoded and saved the repair tool and then tried to run it. I AM sgned in as administrator, the only person on the PC and checked to verify I am set up as an administrator, however when trying to run the saved download I am told I must be signed in as an administrator... A bit of a catch 22, cant run the repair tool... Have rebooted several times. This is out of nowhere a problem,. Have been using One Care for 1.5 years and never a problem like this.

  • I assume you are using a Vista operating system.

    Right click on the file.

    Run as administrator.

    For additional steps

Check if the date and time setting of the computer is correct.

Since you been using onecare since v1.5, I assume no third party security application is present in your computer.

    If none works, contact support.
