Some users not getting updated after a customization change RRS feed

  • All of our users except one, are getting the changes made in customization.  He always got the changes in the past, but suddenly no changes are being seen by the user.  Looking for ideas what to check for.  This is On-premise system, 2011.

  • Are they using the offline client, and are they offline ?

    If it's not that, what are the customisation changes ?

    • If it's SiteMap changes, the user will need to fully refresh the browser session to see them
    • If it's a web resource, the user may need to clear their temporary internet files
    • If it's a form, the user may be viewing a different form from other users

  • Thanks David.  We are all on-line to a central on-premise system, no off-line users.  The customization was on forms and a couple entity additions/edits.  All other users see the changes but one.  He is looking at the same form.

  • It seems to be a CRM issue.  Another user can log into the same machine and it works fine.  The broken user can log in on a different computer and still doesn't see the updates.  All security settings look fine.  I tried to disable the account and re-enable and no luck.  Wondering if I need to delete the user and add him back in???

    That sounds strange, are you positive that they are using the same form? What web browser are you using?

  • Richard, there's only one form to be used.  He is using IE11 (which is a problem with 2011) but also tried with Chrome.  He was able to log into the same machine as a different user and can see everything correctly.  This is an odd one, but hopefully a simple fix.  Just not sure what else to try.
