OCS 2007 and SharePoint RRS feed

    Has anyone ever heard of SharePoint Alerts being integrated with OCS?
     
    Currently I am only aware of SharePoint sending emails as alerts (example document changes in an a library you get an email telling you).
     
    A customer wants to know could the SharePoint alert be sent as an IM message.
     
    Maybe OCS has some sort of API?

    My company has built custom solutions to do exactly this and could speak to your customer about their needs.  There are 2-3 ways to accomplish this depending on exactly how they want it to work.  Feel free to contact me directly if you want more info.
