I'm hoping someone has had experience with this issue....
I use Win XP SP2. I have a 120gb external HD that was formatted into 3 partitions about 40gb each. I want to get it back to a single 120gb drive. In Windows disk management the disk shows up as 1 healthy partiton and 2 healthy logical drives each roughly 40gb. If I delete the 2 logical drives will that 80 gb of space become available? If so, how do I combine it with the first 40 gb partition to get to a single 120gb drive?
Can XP's disk management do this without having to use fdisk? I dont need any data on any of the partitions so the partitions will be empty.
