Display SSRS (Sharepoint Mode) Report in CRM 2013 iFrame RRS feed

  • Question

  •  Business Goal: Using an iFrame on a CRM Form I would like to display an SSRS Report hosted in SharePoint with the parameters passed to the report by the iFrame (object-type and unique identifiers).

Repro Steps: I have done this before, but the report was hosted in SSRS Native Mode, not SSRS SharePoint Mode.

Expected Results: The iFrame would pass the object-type and unique identifiers to the URL to display the report.

Issue: SSRS in Native Mode consumes the parameters as follows; http://URL_To_SSRS/ReportPath/Report&ParamterName=Vaule&AnotherParameterName=Value.  But SSRS in SharePoint Mode requires an “rp:” before the Parameter Name.  Is there any way to get the iFrame to add that to the information it passes or anyway to stop SSRS from requiring it?

    Environment:

CRM Server: CRM 2011 RU 15

SharePoint Server: SharePoint Foundations 2013; SSRS 2012

SQL Server: SQL 2012 (runs all databases for CRM, SP and SSRS)
