Send Email using Workflow

I would like to send an email on the creation of object like task. this email should go to the managers as below

      BU1                  Bu2                BU3

        |
      |
|----------------|
BU1A            BU1B

if someone from BU1A created a task then the workflow should trigger an email to the maneger who is setting in BU1
the same would be for the other BUx available

How i can indentify the manager?

Hi Hussain,

You can very well use the OOB Workflow manager to use the above functionality.

In the workflow manager you have an option to get the onwers manager.

To get the manager for the owner

Click on the To -> Form Assiatant -> Look for -> Owner -> Manager.
