My Win7 started thinking it's no genuine RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi everybody, I'm sorry I have to post the same question again, but I'd like to hear a diagnosis for my laptop.

I've validated Windows once a while ago, but this month it started thinking it's fake (. Could you please have a look at MGA report and give me an advice?

    Thanks in advance.

Your problem is caused by the file mismatches highlighted above – unfortunately, we have had no success troubleshooting this set of errors in the forums here , so your best bet is either a repair install (which you cannot do with a Recovery disk set) or contacting MS WGA Support direct for assistance....
WGA Support can be found here-
    North America: http://support.microsoft.com/contactus/cu_sc_genadv_master?ws=support&ws=support#tab4

    Outside North America:
    http://support.microsoft.com/contactus/?ws=support#tab0

Please let us know if (and how) MS manage to repair the problem without a repair install of the OS - it would be useful for future reference!

  • Thanks for your reply. MS websites says "If your Microsoft product was installed on your computer when you purchased it (i.e. OEM software), contact your computer manufacturer for technical support", so now it's up to Acer.

As to MS, they've already sent me here: http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/windows_7-windows_install/code-8000ffff-my-windows-7-started-thinking-its/aec0a0cc-e949-4b4a-a76a-9ff3ef64ad0f?page=1&tm=1314056389466#footer
