Run the diagnostics tool from the same start menu group that you ran the configuration. It should give you a bit more data as to what is wrong.
This can happen because of time synchronization issues documented here: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2502671
Or I have also seen this happen if you have custom securtiy roles created. Sometimes a custom security role doesn't get configurated quite properly on the backend, if you give the user one of the out of the box security roles then configure the plugin and remove the out of the box security role it has been known to resolve this issue.

Hi Juan,
I have the same issue, i was working with Microsoft CRM support team from last two weeks to resolve this issue. Its not even working for the Administrator.
But its a strange that, in some client machine we are able to configure but not in all the client machines.

Hi Srini,
On which port you have installed the CRM??
Make sure CRM has to be run on only port.
And restart both the client and server machines and try to configure.

If you enable tracing following the instructions here: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/907490 and post the trace file perhaps we can help you figure out what is wrong.
