Live Email account issue RRS feed

  • I'm using @live.com domain email account, and I'm using 2FA for authentication. I am able to login to the account from mail.live.com (correct username/password and 2FA code) but then it will prompt me this error message:

    Something went wrong and we can't sign you in right now. Please try again later.
    The Microsoft account login server has detected too many repeated authentication attempts. Please wait a moment and try again.

    Troubleshooting done:
    1. Cleared browser cache
    2. Using different browser
    3. Run in private/incognito mode
    4. Reset my Windows 10 PC (reformat)
    5. Using web browser from smartphone
    6. Signed out from all sessions:
    7. Reset my email password

    Any advise on how to eliminate this issue? I can't check my email right now and feel stressed since this is my primary email account.

    I have tried and read all the feedback/solution posted in the internet, none of it fits my situation.
