  • I don't know how you figured this registry setting out, but you're the best.  Thank you VERY much.  I'm still on version 12 (Microsoft Money 2004) and I can't bring myself to let go of this application.  It's been doing the trick for me for almost 14 years.  I used a version prior to 2004 also.  I was seriously saddened when Microsoft discontinued it.  Now to see if anything else about it is broken.  Thanks again!

  • At Last! Took all day to find the solution. I had Money DeLuxe 2004, which was in the compatibility list but failed requiring IE6, and the Registry change did not work for me. I googled for ages to little effect. Eventually, I managed to find a download for Money UK 2005. I uninstalled the 2004 version, installed 2005 and then applied the Registry change. Eureka. Luckily the later version also automatically reformats your data too. So now back working, and no data lost. I'm delighted!! Thanks everyone. And hope this helps someone else.

  • I found the same fix - and it works for me (so far). I have MS Money 2005 (UK Version, and have been through numerous changes of PCs/Windows. The ofx files from the banks have to be saved and then imported from Money (File>Import>Download Statement....). They used to import automatically.

  • Thanks very much.

This registry hack also works for Money 2002 (v 10.0) on Windows 10.
