Exam 70-680 vs. 70-270

Question
-
I am scheduled to take exam 70-680 (TS: Configuring Windows 7) next Friday. I was curious how this test compared to exam 70-270 (The XP test). I remember that I got quite a few simulation questions on 70-270 (probably over 12). It still was no problem as I scored an 900. I feel pretty confident that I am well prepared for 70-680. I have read the MS press training kit book, did all of the practice questions, and have had quite a bit of hands on experieince in the past year. I was just wondering if I could expect the same types of questions on this test as the 70-270 exam. Many simulated labs? Does anyone have any insight on this.

70-680 is completely different from 70-270. I passed 70-270 with about 2 hours of studying.
70-680 I have not passed in 1 try and I studied for more than 3 months with almost 2 years hands on.
They aren't anywhere near each other. Do your homework, its a hard test and its deserving of the certification when you
pass it.
Good luck

You may or may not get some simulated labs. Certification NDA forbids peolpe from discussing this type of question.

Matt,
You were correct, this was definitely a difficult test. I passed with an 850 so I was pretty excited. I'm glad that I have had a quite a bit of hands on experience that covered the objectives in the past two years. I read the MS press self paced training kit book and did the excercises but I don't think that would be enough for this one. I ran into some material on the test that wasn't covered in the book.
