Account Opportunity View

Question
-
I am trying to change the view for the opportunities listed under an account. Currently this view only shows open opportunities but I would like to change it to list all opportunites associated with the account, open or closed. Can any one help me?
The view it seams I need to edit is the "Opportunity Associated View" but this does not appear to give me the option to edit the filter as you would normally get if you were to create a new view.
I could create a new view but then how would I set this to be the view used when looking at the opportunites listed under an account?
Hope someone can helpTuesday, August 25, 2009 10:19 PM

It is not possible by simple configuration. You can do it by following the steps below but be advised that this is unsupported customization.
- Export the entity Customization.
- Open the customization file and search for Associated View in the XML File.
- Navigation to the fetchxml tags associated with the view and change the filter criteria.
- Import the XML back into MS CRM.

This is an old post, but I am experiencing same issue. I followed steps above and deleted the filter criteria. Still only get active records. Should I be adding code to return inactive records?
