Outlook - Same user, Different Views RRS feed

  •  I have 2 machines Outlook CRM 4.0 is installed on but one does not show Mail Merge capabilities in a Quick Campaign. 

    Checked the regconfig and ensured all settings are duplicated. 

    Any thoughts?

  • Are the security roles of the user's using the Outlook client the same? If not, ensure that the 'Mail Merge' option is filled green on the Miscellaneous Privileges section of the Business Management tab of their security role.

  • I agree with Shafrax about checking the Mail Merge option - but only change the option in the security role if you really want all users in that role to be able to use Mail Merge. It may be that the role was deliberately set up to exclude Mail Merge.
