Hi

I am having a problem with accessing the bios, either i have forgotten the password or the comp do's not recognise it.

I would appreciate it very much if anyone can help.

Depending upon the mainboard / bios you can :

clear the bios

use a default password (only some bios's have this)

use a program to extract the password

http://www.freelabs.com/~whitis/security/backdoor.html has some info I'm sure googling "default password" for your bios would turn up more.
