MOE.exe is chewing up my hard drive RRS feed

  • Question

  • Is there any way to get mesh to lay off the constant hard drive scanning?
I have several folders sync'd, and I understand why it might scan them periodically for changes. But it seems that every time I turn around MOE.exe is hitting the hard dtive excessively.  Even when there's been no changes to the files I have synced.

  • There have been a few other reports of this, but I'm not sure that a cause has ever been positively identified. Please submit a bug report with logs from the affected machine(s).
    See -

How to Submit Bugs and Live Mesh Logs

Note that you may not receive a response to the bug report, though. It will be transferred to the internal system to be assigned to the appropriate development group.
