Problem with SQl Server 2008 R2 after the upgradfrom Windows 7 to Windows 10

When I open SQL Server 2008 R2 I cannot engage Database Engine - error 26. When I view the properties for the server the Start In line is blank. is this the problem ? if so what should it be ?. Any other suggestions welcome.
