Contratc active to draft RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi there,

As i know(correct me if i am wrong), once a contract is marked as active, there is no way using the CRM to get that contract back to draft. Now if a user marcked a contract as active, and then notice that contract got errors...is recommended to use SDk to modify contract's stated code to draft? or maybe delete the contract some how?  any suggestion some idea ill be apreciatted?

    Cheers

  • I don't believe that even the SDK will allow you to change a Contract's status back to Draft state.  The only possible option is to make direct SQL modifications, which are unsupported by Microsoft.  MayankP has a Workflow-based solution to make things a little easier.  Consider the "supported" option of canceling the existing Contract and creating a copy of it, which will initialize in the "Draft" status.
