Outlook Client and Tracking RRS feed

  • System: On premise CRM 2011 Rollup 16, Outlook Client with Rollup 16

    Scenario: An email is created in Outlook, the From is changed from the default user (Bob) to a group's email (Client Service). This is our normal practice when sending company emails. We then click TRACK then send the email.

    When the email is sync back to CRM, the From in the CRM email form is resolved incorrectly to the user (Bob) and not to the GROUP (Client Service). The user and group are active system users in CRM.

    This issue is happening to one user only, all other users in the group are working and their outgoing emails are resolving to the Group system user correctly.

    Thus far, we have uninstall the Outlook client from the effected user's PC and removed the MSCRM folder from his profile before reinstalling the Outlook client and applying the Rollups BUT have not resolved the issue.

    Any suggestions/directions would be much appreciated.
