  • Hello.  I purchased a computer system from an independent builder that included a pre-installed copy of Microsoft Windows Vista Home Premium.  I also purchased a copy of Microsoft Office Professional 2007 that was pre-installed on the system, although I'm not sure if that's actually an OEM version.

     

    At any rate, I think I should qualify for at least the Vista Home Premium bonus pack, but I get an error message whenever I try to load that page.  Please note that it doesn't tell me that I am not eligible -- it takes me to an error page saying "We’re sorry, but we were unable to service your request. You may wish to choose from the links below for information about Microsoft products and services."  Could you please tell me how I can register to receive the Vista Home Premium bonus pack?

     

    Also, when I tried to sign up for the Office 2007 bonus pack, it tells me that I have failed to meet the eligibility requirements.  Could you please confirm that this is the case?  If so, which criterion do I not meet?

    Thank you for your interest in the Buy Local promotion. I am not seeing your redemption attempt for the Windows Vista Home Premium offer in my log - can you attempt that redemption again, please?

     

    With regards to the Office 2007 offer, my log shows that you are running a Retail version of this software. Could you please do the following:

    1. Confirm that your copy of Office has been activated.
    2. Verify that you are running an eligible copy of Office (www.localpcbuilder.com/eligible)

    Information on activating is available in the Help menu of your Office applications.
