Error when trying to remove a drive RRS feed

  • HELP!
I temporarily added a USB drive to my WHS to make sufficient room to remove one of the existing internal drive to add a new bigger one. (Moving from 500 Gig to 1T drives)

So I added the drive (500 G USB), and then removed the 500 G internal.

Then added the 1T internal, and am now removing the 500 G USB and hit a snag.

When I went to remove the USB drive it ran a while and came back with "Hard drive removal not successful", clicking on the view details gave me Conflict "Data error (cyclic redundancy check)": Name "Data.4096.71.dat": Location "D:\folders\{00008086-058D-4C89-AB57-A7F909A47AB4}"

All drives show "Healthy" including the USB drive

    So, what to do????
