Windows Live Email Problem

  I have a virgin account being used on windows live email 2011.

  Everything has worked fine for some time, however it has recently stopped working.

  It will open and all the folders are displayed ok, but when you click on the new email button nothing happens. if you try to start a new email from the contacts list again nothing happens.

  When you close down the programme however, all the emails you tried to open suddenly pop up.

  Any suggestions?
