Online CRM help with basic understanding - Solution RRS feed

  • Hello, 

    I'm a CRM beginner and I have a question concerning CRM solutions:

    When I log into my online CRM account, I can see "Create" button for creating new accounts, contacts and so on. 
    Now, when I go to customization and do some changes in the Entity Account form and maybe add workflows to run upon "Account" creation, do these changes affect the "Account" created when I "Create"-->"Account" on my homepage ? 
    I mean, is it the same solution ? 
    Now when I create a new Custom solution, create entities and workflows, how can i test this solution ? How can I make this solution i just created to be the default solution that I use when I log on into my CRM ? 

    Am I getting something wrong here ? 
    Appreciate your help.

    Your questions touch the basics of CRM and can take a while to answer.

    I suggest you start reading up on Microsoft Dynamcis CRM as your are lacking basic understanding of customization and solution building.

    Some sources of information can be found on youtube or on sites like the below


    I know the above link is in danish.. but the course names are in english.. and the course materials are in english as well... Requires you to be a MS partner though.
