Data Migration from on-premise to Online CRM - Duplicate Issues RRS feed

  • I had a duplicate detection in the on-premise CRM which used email address as a unique identifier. Now when I try to migrate data to online CRM, it throws up error saying duplicate records exist by checking against names and not email addresses. I had configured the same duplicate detection rule in the online version also but for some reason it is still checking names and not email addresses for duplicate detection.

  • This does sound odd. I would try turning Duplicate Detection off, delete the rule. Recreate the rule and then switch on duplicate detection.
