    Will there be a x64 build of WHS Connector?

    I would assume that there will be eventually. However, there is a feedback item on Connect that just says "By design" as the reason the issue was closed, so I would assume it won't be soon.

    There's a workaround here in the forums that will let you install the connector. Backups will fail, so don't try to configure them, but you can at least install the WHS Console.
