how can I find IP address of my account signing in location RRS feed

  • Question

  • Good morning,

My surface was recently stolen and I am trying to help the police with their enquiries. I could trace the location of my laptop but can't see the IP. i am wondering if there are any ways i can have the IP address of the location where my laptop is lastly logged in.

    thank you very much!

    Regards

  • Greetings,

if you attached your device to your Hotmail-account:
    https://account.microsoft.com/devices

When you select the Surface, you can "Find my device".
If the location is too old; it's fairly easy to check by an alternative url which shows the last known location:https://account.microsoft.com/?lang=en-US&refd=account.live.com&refp=landing

    with kind regards,

    Sebastian
