    I am having trouble rdc whs both on the lan and the wan?  I have routed all the ports 2 server local ip address and still nothing.  For the wan side i believ it to be my 2wire home portal.. I dislike this homeportal. Is there any thing i am missing?                    Please Help

    Hi Nicholas,
    I have a hard time to understand, what you exactly want to say. And you don't bother to tell us, what you have configured and what already works.

    If you mean Remote Desktop, check the Windows Firewall Settings on the server, if they have the exception for Remote Desktop for the Internet scope. Your router needs to forward port 3389, if you want to use Remote Desktop via Internet.

    Does the normal webinterface via your homeserver.com domain work?

    If the connection fails also locally, is the connection established, if you use the IP address of the server instead of the name?
    This would point to a name resolution problem in your network.
