"Failed to map rx buffer" installation issue RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi,

While trying to setup the SORA boards, we encountered some issues. The setup consists of an OPTIPLEX 745 PC running Windows 7 64 bit and has the 64bit drivers installed and working correctly (no error messages from the OS). We use the Sora SDK 2.0 version.

    1. On running HWVeri.exe in Sora 2.0, I receive an error "No Radio Found". I have seen this error before and this seems to be a problem with the HWVeri.exe in the 2.0 version.

    2. On compiling (using WinDDK 7) and executing specanalyser.exe i receive an error "Unable to map rx buffer".

I havent been able to send or receive successfully using the SORA boards yet. Has anyone seen this issue before ? Please let me know if you need any additional information.

    Many thanks for your time.,

    Cheers

    Saro

  • Hi,

You may want to try to install Windows XP and other required component in your PC.

  • Thanks for that information. I will try that now. Is it a known problem with Windows 7 ?

  • If your Radio Front-end is WBX, you could get HWVeri work by installing SDK 1.6 in WinXP
