MCP Website

Question
-
I can log into the MCP website without a problem the first initial time. I know my ID and password and once in I can access all resources. I recently added another certification and was logging in to see if it was on the site yet. It was not although later I received the Congradulations email from Microsoft and decided to go see if it was on there now. When I navigate to www.microsoft.com/mcp it comes to a page that says "text text text <Sign Out> text". I clicked on Sign Out thinking that maybe it was just remembering my earlier session and wanting me to sign back in again. The problem is that when you click Sign Out it refreshes the same page you were on asking you to Sign Out. I am using IE8 and have had this problem before. Usually waiting 24 hrs and then trying again will let you login. Also using a different browser is effective enough to get you into the site but you cannot navigate through the links like you can with IE. I have cleared the cache, cookies, history, etc. I restarted the computer. Still having the problem with coming to the screen with the Sign Out option. Is anyone else having this problem?Friday, March 16, 2012 3:16 AM

Hello,
I agree with REHAN. It works in all my browsers. I think you must put up a screen shot.

Hi,
do you have multiple Windows Live IDs? If that is the case, click "Sign Out" and sign in with the Live ID which is linked with your MCP ID. If that doesn't work follow the suggestions of the community members above.

Hi,
I have exactly the same issue and is highly annoying. I have tried a workarouind which seems to work. I use Win7 Ultimate and have loade the Virtual Pc/XP Mode software. When I access the MCP site is works fine and actually is better as can leave open all the time while working in Win 7.

Try going to outlook.com or hotmail.com, click your name, and then click Sign Out.
Then try navigating to the MCP Certification site. It should prompt you to log in and you should get in successfully.
Good luck!
