  • Family Safety is a separate service from WLOC.  You can get it here:

  • Unfortunately, this forum is not for the Family Safety program. Nor is there a community site for the program, either.

You can reach support for the Family Safety program here: https://support.live.com/default.aspx?productkey=wlfamilysafety

This error is likely caused by a setting in Internet Explorer, though. If you are using IE7, consider going to Tools/Internet Options and clicking the option to reset everything to default on the Advanced tab.

  • Sorry that OneCare wasn't the solution you desired and thanks for trying it out. Though, I'm not sure I'd go along with calling it rubbish due to a lack of a feature in the installed OneCare product on the PC and the error you encountered when trying to install the free Windows Live OneCare Family Safety product.
