    Hi,

    I am a .Net Developer with working experience on Windows and web application.

    If i have to go for a certification which one should i go for?
    There are several like MCPD, MCTS etc. I am really not sure which one is important or which one i should take first.
    Which certification will be considered a advantage if i am applying for a job now?

    Any suggestions?

    You should take first the exams to achieve the MCTS, since it is a prerequisite for obtaining the MCPD. After you have earned the MCTS you can, if you wish, take the additional exam for becoming an MCPD.

    There are several variations depending on your specialty. In your case, since you develop both Windows and Web applications, you could pursue the MCTS (and MCPD) either on Windows or on Web applications.
