Can the original email be used to compromise an account RRS feed

  • Question

  • Once the communication email is changed, are there communications sent to the original email?

If I do not have access to original email used to create the live id and would like to insure the original email does not become a vulnerability for the account. is it recommended to forfeit the account or would the procedure below be considered safe?

As far as forums profile is concerned. (link you posted) No, going forward all alerts go to new address once it is confirmed. You seem to be asking a microsoft account question which you can chat or email them here. (links at page bottom)
