Vista Reinstall Activation RRS feed

  • I purchased a Toshiba A135-S2386 few weeks ago at Best Buy in CA, which exploded Windows Vista along with bunch of memory intensive programs when it was turned on for the first time. So, I reinstalled Win Vista the way I like it with system and data partitions. I entered the product key from the label on the back of the laptop but it says “invalid product key” and gives me three options, 1) retry 2) call activation 3) buy new license.

    I am in Nepal and I am not sure who to call for activation in the country. Please advise on how to resolve this problem.

  • Did you use a Toshiba Windows Vista recovery CD that came with the computer?
