I am hoping someone can help me with this. I have the following equipment... Brand new Compaq desktop in my home office running Windows Vista Home Premium(32bit), Linksys Dual Band N Router in the basment, the Compaq is hooked into the internet with a Linksys USB N adapter, an HP P1006 Laser Printer, and an Epson 9400 all in one for scanner printer fax. The issue happens with the HP P1006. When I am disconnected from my work desktop, (have not logged into work through their server), I can print locally just fine. As soon as I connect to work, the printer que for my HP P1006 starts filling up with "Redirected" print jobs. These print jobs don't print, but fill my que to the point that nothing will print that I actuall send to the printer. I have gotten as many as 422 of these phantom print jobs. They even appear like they are coming from my server at work, (they have my name on them as if I sent them to the printer while connected to work). Once I disconnect from work the jobs stop coming in, and I can then clear them all and then print locally once again. As a side note, I do have the same drivers installed on my desktop computer at home that are installed on the server at work. If I act fast when I connect to work, I can print while logged in to work... but as soon as these phantom jobs start piling up, I have to disconnect from my virtual work session, (return to my normal local desktop), clear out these jobs, and then I can print locally. Any assistance in this matter would be great. My company's contracted IT company does not seem to have the 1st clue as to what is going on. For the time being, I have to email all the documents I need to print while logged onto work to my personal email, log ff of work, and then print them locally.
