DataService error after clean install RRS feed

  • Hello,

    After clean reinstall of Zentity attempt to browse DataService (http://localhost:9090/DataService/ZentityDataService.svc/)  results in "The server encountered an error processing the request. See server logs for more details." and the following exception is logged:

    System.Data.MappingException, System.Data.Entity, Version=4.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=b77a5c561934e089

    with message: The number of members in the conceptual type 'Zentity.ScholarlyWorks.Letter' does not match with the number of members on the object side type 'Zentity.ScholarlyWorks.Letter'. Make sure the number of members are the same.

    Any ideas?

  • Hi,

    You can copy and paste the Scholarlyworks dll from the bin folder of the DataService folder to webUI and Visualexproler bin folders. If it does not help then I guess I fresh install is required.

  • I'm having this issue after 2 fresh installs, did you ever fix it?

  • hi, The issue is because of mismatch in the update in the dlls.I am not experiencing any such issue. Can you please clean the local cache and try it again. See this thread to locate the folder.
