WHS Custom Domain Configuration RRS feed

  • Question

  • I recently had to rebuild my WHS machine due to a hard drive failure. After reinstalling WHS and reconfiguring everything I get an error when I try to do the Windows Live sign in step of configuring the Windows Live Custom Domain Name. It's worked every time in the past so I know this cannot be a router issue. After correctly keying in my Windows Live ID I am presented with Unknown Error (0x80072f0c) 80072f0c.

Has anyone else had this issue or can someone from MS help me with this problem.

  • Basically, Windows Live Custom Domains is being upgraded. Patience is called for; I have no doubt that Microsoft is working on it, but I don't know of any ETA for when it will all be functional again.

See e.g. this thread in the Software forum.
I'm not on the WHS team, I just post a lot. :)
