  • My WHS has started having backup failures on every try. Here is the event log:

    Any ideas would be appreciated.

  • When you get all those errors, the first is the important error... the others follow in succession but because the first fails, the others fail by default.  WHS is trying to connect and cannot.   There are a number of things I can think of... one, the connect is based on a service account (or local service account which uses the administrator) and the password gets changed but not at the service level.   Also, the backup disk may have been given different permissions.

    Another thought might be that the wire is bad or the connection is loose or the backup disk is turned off.   A third thought is that the disk is full and there is no room left on the disk to write to.
