Low Space of WHS System Drive RRS feed

  • General discussion

  • There have been some messages about this, but no decent answer.

Bottom line is that the 20GB WHS system drive gets filled up every three weeks ago. Sure some logs can be deleted and old files compressed. But this is a stopgap measure.

WHS team needs to take C: Drive the disk fillup issue seriously and come up with a tool to help. Not every WHS user will be comfortable using RDP to the server, running disk cleanup and possibly deleting needed files.

My WHS has 3 1TB drives and plenty of empty space - except on the C: drive.

Do you have any idea what exactly is filling up your drive (and why)?  There must be some issue, I have actively used servers running for nearly two years and no such issues.
