Unable to activate genuine copy of Windows 7 RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi,

I would really appreciate some help on this...

I installed a genuine retail copy of Windows 7 on my machine and I am unable to activate it as it says it is not a geniune copy of Windows. Below is the diagnostic report.

Background - I had it previously installed on an old machine which I no longer use. The hard drive I had it insalled on has been formatted and now used as a storage device. Only after insalling Windows onto the new hard drive do I get this problem.

    Many thanks in advance!

I can see nothing wrong in the report.
This probably means that you simply need to activate by telephone

    telephone activation (operator calls)
    Click on the Start button
    in the Search box, type
    SLUI 4
    and hit the Enter key
follow the instructions - but when asked which service you require by the telephone ansafone, do NOT reply - this should force an operator to respond, who can deal with you
