  • You should be able to sync with both computers via USB connection with no problem.  You'll need to install ActiveSync to your XP computer and WMDC to your Vista computer.

  • I wanted to sync outlook via the wireless network.  I installed sync toy on the portable and am able to sync my data files, but haven't quite got Outlook to sync up yet.

You'll never be able to use Sync toy to sync your pocket pc and your computer - with a vista computer you have to use WMDC.  Since WM5.0, Microsoft removed the ability for pocket pcs to be synced via wifi connection (unless you are syncing to an Exchange server).

  • The tower is a Dell the portable is a Fujitsu Lifebook not a pocket.  Sync toy worked for Data files.  I thought if I marked the Outlook folder as share, it would sync the program.  No luck yet, I believe I need to share the address and calendar data files

  • Do you know you are posting to a Mobile Devices forum (think Pocket PCs and Smartphones)?  When I read your question I thought there was a Pocket PC in the mix.

Oh, well then you might be able to do it, but unless someone here happens to have some computer expertise in this particular area, you might not find the answer you seek in this forum.
