i have office home and student 2007 and reloading it on computer i purchased form dell with this and comes up with product key invalid. how can i fix this?

  It happened to me.  I was told by Microsoft to make sure I uninstalled any trial version of Office put on my computer by the retailer before sale. So I went into the control panel to perform this very easy process (if it doesn't work there look up uninstall microsoft software and they will give you an alternative way of doing it).  Then put in your new software and your product key will work ready for its intallation.
