  • Is there a way in CRM to have a reminder pop up? One of our users would like a reminder on when he need to followup on an opportunity. I see the appointments and I have created an appointment, but I don't get a reminder.  I am thinking this would only work if we had our outlook calendar connected to CRM, right. Is there another work around for this?

  • The only effective way to do this is via the CRM Outlook client. You can use a CRM workflow to create either a CRM task (with a due date) or appointment (with a start date), and have the user's CRM Outlook client configured to sync tasks and/or appointments, and the user would get the Outlook notification
