  • I have the same problem, pressing escape goes away, and problem only with Chrome!! So lets blame Chrome :)

  • This annoying bug also occurs on Safari (Mac). The "persistent suggestion dropdown" appears upon initially loading any page in the MS Expression forums. On Safari it is displayed offset to the left of the actual search box. When I place the cursor in the search box, a different (proper) suggestion dropdown box appears below the search box (properly aligned with the search box). This would seem to indicate that the bug isn't strictly related to cursor detection, but instead related to display code (CSS layer?) that isn't compatible with Safari (and Chrome).

  • Yes, I see this on Chrome also (on Windows 7). Otherwise it looks good, AFAICT.

In Safari/Mac it pops up again next time you do something in the session even after you closed it (the Suggestions Box).I've not bother to check this in Chrome, yet.

Yup, back it came when I went to the forum again.

  • Still an issue? Seems that updates to the Forums and to Chrome have solved this.

    Thanks!
