Originally posted this on the CRM forum before I realized that I should be posting here.

I have seen some discussion about SQL 2008 and CRM 4.0 - in theory a supported coupling, but have not seen SBS 2008 discussed. Any comments or pointers would be appreciated - up to and including "Are you out of your mind!"

Has anyone tried installing CRM 4.0 on Small Business Server 2008 with SQL 2008?

I've installed CRM 4.0 on a separate Windows Server with SQL 2008 that is part of an SBS domain without problems.

I see no reason why CRM won't install on a single SBS 2008 server that is also running Windows 2008. Make sure that you examine the KB article at http://support.microsoft.com/kb/950100 re Windows 2008 and this article http://support.microsoft.com/kb/957053 re SQL 2008.
