    the tune up just finished checking for updates and is now prompting me to look at them and see if i want to add them, and to be quite honest i dont because all of the updates are not needed or wanted. my problem is that its not letting me say no to them, or remove them even though it says that they are optional.

     

    how do i get it to remove the list?

    If you are using OneCare, you must install all critical and important updates or you will not be in Green/Good status. Optional updates are indeed optional.
