Have MS set a date for expiration of WHS 1 maintenance? RRS feed

    With WHS2 / Vail on the horizon, and with the lack of an alternative to Drive Extender, I'm wondering how long MS are going to be maintaining the original WHS. Anyone know?

    Standard mainstream lifecycle for consumer software is 5 years, and there's usually no extended support. See here: January 2013 is when support ends.
    I'm not on the WHS team, I just post a lot. :)
